One to one counselling offers an opportunity and safe space to explore with a trained professional those areas of life which may be currently causing you pain or distress.  I offer a therapeutic relationship based on unconditional acceptance, respect, and mutual trust through which you can feel heard and empowered to reflect on and process aspects of your life, experiences and your inner self which may have previously felt overwhelming.

I believe that we all have within us the capacity, strength, and courage to find our own answers and make changes as we see necessary, therefore, I will not give direct advice or instruction but rather seek to empower possible choices or change for you.  Through exploration of your experiences, counselling can support you in gaining insight and understanding into yourself and your experiences which is essential to identifying and developing the use of your own internal resources.  These internal resources can in turn support you in navigating your way through the difficulties you may be currently experiencing.
